Technology to help cut waiting time for public buses: Gahlot | Delhi News

New Delhi: The Delhi government is integrating all public transport systems with Google to create a multimodal transport planner so that people do not have to wait long for public buses, City Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot said on Friday. In response to a tweet from Gahlot on the matter, Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal said his government was working hard to make the national capital’s transport system user-friendly.
“Delhites can plan their bus trips very quickly to the minute. We are in the final round of integrating all of our public transport systems into the @ GoogleIndia platform which uses Delhi government’s Open Transit Data and live data from buses to create a reliable multimodal transport planner, ”Gahlot said in a tweet.
