Manish Sisodia inaugurates the DTU’s “Lab on Wheel”

Delhi Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday inaugurated Delhi Technical University’s Lab on Wheels program, which sees DTU students traveling around the city teaching government students, an official statement said .

The “Lab on Wheels”, launched as part of the DTU “Education Reaches You” initiative, is a tailor-made bus that is equipped with 17 computers, two televisions, a 3D printer, cameras and a printer, the statement said of the deputy CM office.
As part of the program, DTU students will give lectures and tutorials for students in Delhi state schools and disadvantaged children, it said.

Mr Sisodia said, “The DTU’s ‘Lab on Wheels’ program will also bring joy to our students studying in government schools in Delhi. It will act as an information and counseling cell for our students.”
“I wholeheartedly appreciate the DTU volunteers who, through the Extension and Field Outreach Program, will help 44 students from the Lakh Delhi government find their own way, think and achieve their dreams,” he said .
Mr. Sisodia also inaugurated a new “Pragya Bhawan” classroom complex and a new center for DTU’s design department, the statement said.
