NEW DELHI – The roadside shops at Ms. Sang Thang Mami’s vegetable stand picked up pace as the evening kicked off with office workers picking up fresh produce on the way home.
As she was packing an order of green chili peppers and coriander, the 55-year-old widow, a Chin refugee, who spoke through an interpreter, said her thoughts were with friends and family in Myanmar, the country she fled from in 2009.
